Our Terms and Conditions for the provision of structural design.

Our quotes are for the structural design work and sketch details suitable for inclusion in a submission to building control. Generally we do not provide full working drawings, but these can provided if required, (please indicate this at the time of your first enquiry). Site visits are by prior arrangement only.

Our work will be based on drawings / sketches or any other information provided by you, the customer. Alterations to the scheme made by the customer may be subjects to additional fees. 

In general, we will limit our design work to the areas requested, however on occasion, we will make recommendations that further work is required.

Legitimate queries by checking engineers or building control officers will answered within the fee quoted. However, where additional work is required outside our original remit, additional fees will be required.

The copyright of our design work is retained by 'Fast Calc Ltd', however, it may be freely used by the customer for the designated scheme of application only.

A 'PDF format' copy of the design will be provided to the customer, by email, on receipt of the fees requested. One hard copy is available on request at no additional charge.

Works should not be commenced until full approvals are received by the customer. If this recommendation is ignored and the work proceeds before these approvals, It is carried out entirely at the customers own risk. In this case 'Fast Calc Ltd' shall not be held responsible and will therefore not be liable.
